End of pandemic relief for child care programs on September 30 could lead to closures
More than 220,000 child care providers across the country received $24 billion in federal pandemic relief to help keep the doors open. However, that funding is set to end on September 30. NBC News’ Blayne Alexander shares more on how as many as 70,000 programs are at risk of possible closure.
