The US has confirmed its participation in the so-called international fighter jet coalition that includes countries like the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark and Portugal. European countries can now supply Ukraine with F-16 fighter aircrafts. US will not supply them yet but will train Ukrainian pilots on F-16s. In the wake of the G-7 summit in Hiroshima, Joe Biden reversed his stance and gave his approval. On his worldwide tour from Saudi Arabia to Japan, this was perhaps the most significant success for President Zelensky.
