G7 leaders discuss unified position against ‘economic coercion’ by China | DW News

The G7 leaders summit has kicked off in Hiroshima, Japan. One of the aims of the G7 summit is to craft a unified position against what’s called ‘economic coercion’ by China.

The seven major economies are seeking ways to reduce their strategic dependence on imports from Beijing, and plan to diversify supply chains and markets to fend off this possibility.
